Peonies

Peonies are a firm favorite at Spruce Flowers and Events. Available in both the Spring and the Fall. In the Spring we source them from Washington State and locally, then in the fall from New Zealand and Chile.

Peonies are relatively resilient and need some encouragement to open and reveal their delicate petals. An insider tip is literally to hit the flower heads on your workbench and cut the stems and hydrate with hot water. We feature Peonies in our Portland and Victoria arrangements and of course they make guest appearances in our Creative Director
