Spruce has always and continues to set the benchmark of quality fresh floral arrangements in the Twin Cities. We handle our products with care, sourcing the finest quality blooms both locally and from around the globe.
Behind the scenes in the studio is a creative team of dedicated designers who are given the space and environment to perfect thier craft and produce our uniquly styled arrangements.
2010 - 2020
Spruce was originally founded by Amy Backman and opened its doors for the first time in the 48th and Chicago neighborhood of Minneapolis.
In 2013 The Spruce Flower Bar, was opened in 50th & France in Edina.
As retail trends changed Spruce evolved too and in 2017 Spruce reduced its retail footprint and relocated into a studio location in NE Minneapolis.
2020 - today
As COVID19 turned the world of retail on its head! Simon took over the creative direction and ownership of Spruce.
Simon's background in horticulture and interior landscape design has continued the evolution of Spruce growing its revenue streams through the expansion of subscriptions and expanding the delivery area, resulting in the need for additional cooler capacity. So we moved again into our present beautiful studio space further down the hall in the Fisk Building. Centrally located between Highway 280 and 35W, we are perfectly positioned to deliver to the entire Minneapolis and St Paul metro area with ease.
