Ficus elastica "Burgundy" is a striking indoor plant prized for its deep, wine-colored foliage and architectural growth habit. This tabletop specimen arrives in a 7" Moss Green Kendal ceramic pot, ready to elevate any room with its sophisticated presence. The Burgundy variety features glossy leaves in rich maroon tones that deepen with maturity. It thrives in bright, indirect light and adapts well to moderate indoor conditions.

Plant Care Instructions

Light: Place in bright, indirect light. Tolerates lower light but grows best near an east or west-facing window. Avoid direct afternoon sun, which can scorch leaves.

Water: Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Reduce frequency in winter. Allow excess water to drain; do not let the plant sit in standing water.

Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity. Mist leaves occasionally or place on a pebble tray with water to encourage glossy foliage.

Temperature: Keep between 60–75°F. Avoid cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.

Soil: Use well-draining potting mix. Repot every 12–18 months as the plant grows.

Feeding: Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced, diluted houseplant fertilizer. Reduce feeding in fall and winter.

Cleaning: Wipe leaves gently with a soft, damp cloth to maintain their natural shine and remove dust.

Toxicity: Ficus elastica is toxic to pets and children if ingested. Keep out of reach.

Why do we need the recipient's phone number

Our Minnesota weather is a challenging factor in making our deliveries, hot in the summer, cold in the winter. Our in house delivery team uses software that sends the recipient a text prior to the delivery to let the recipient know that we are on our way. Think of this as building the anticipation of receiving flowers rather spoiling the surprise, it also allows our drivers to make alternate arrangements with the recipient if they are not available. Our software also sends a text as we arrive to let the recipient know we are at the door.

When ordering flowers for a funeral be sure to add who the the name of the deceased as the recipient in the following format,
