Community Giving & Donation Requests

At Spruce Flowers and Events we are committed to supporting nonprofits and community organizations in the Twin Cities. We receive many requests and can only accommodate a limited amount, so we review donation requests thoughtfully and on a case-by-case basis.

To ensure we can serve our community fairly, please note: requests must be submitted at least 30 days in advance of the event. We prioritize registered nonprofit organizations based and serving the community here in Minneapolis and the metro area.

Donations are provided as floral arrangements, gift cards, or class certificates—not cash. Each organization may receive one donation per calendar year, subject to availability and our current capacity.

In the additional information please share 

  • Intended use of the donation
  • Estimated retail value requested
  • Expected attendance of the event
  • Is there an admission charged for the event
  • Estimated number of people benefiting
  • Fundraising goals and how the proceeds of the event will be used

What level of recognition is being offered 

  • Website / Social media 
  • Inclusion of logo on event signage
  • Program and newsletter listing
  • Expected social media reach 
  • Will photography from event be shared with Spruce.

If your request is approved, we'll be in touch.

Should the application be successful we will require a formal donation request letter as well as an IRS nonprofit determination letter.
